Axel is a specialist lawyer for information technology law in the practice group Technology, Media & Telecoms. He advises clients on national and international digital and data protection projects and is a proven IT and GDPR expert. As ‘Head of Clients’, Axel is also responsible for clients and innovation in Taylor Wessing's management.

Based on many years of experience and his outstanding expertise he guides clients on the provider and user side through complex, international transactions, contract design and regulatory issues (GDPR, AI Act, NIS-2/DORA, Data Act). He advises corporates on the transformation to digital and global business models, supports them in implementing AI and data protection regulations, is a strategic advisor to his clients' management on compliance in digitalisation and conducts negotiations with the relevant supervisory authorities.
