Global law firm Taylor Wessing is pleased to welcome Natasha Zahid to its international Disputes and Investigations office and its Dubai office.
Natasha joins as our new Head of Disputes and Investigations for the MENA region from another international firm where she was sector lead for regional family businesses in the disputes team and arbitration lead in the firm’s Advocacy Unit.
Her practice has a broad breadth of multijurisdictional experience covering contentious and non-contentious work relating to the private client office, regional family business, real estate and construction, banking and financial services, hospitality, energy, defence contracting, technology and logistics sectors (amongst others).
Natasha builds on our strengths as a European market-leader in high-profile disputes and investigations work as well as our Tier 1 ranked private wealth team.
Ronald Graham, head of Taylor Wessing's Dubai office, said "I am thrilled to welcome Natasha to Taylor Wessing. Her arrival is a significant step for our Dubai office as we continue to grow in core areas to meet client demand. She is a well-known expert, particularly for her work in high-end contentious private wealth disputes, across the entire Middle Eastern region."
Natasha Zahid said "I am delighted to be joining Taylor Wessing in Dubai. The firm has a strong reputation in the international disputes market, particularly in the private wealth/family business space, and I look forward to tapping into that network to further the offering across the Middle East. International clients are increasingly looking to law firms to provide cross-border, multi-disciplinary advice and Taylor Wessing is in an ideal position to service their needs. I look forward to getting started."
This latest partner hire is the sixth announced by the firm this year. Ryan Ferry and Giles Crown, two highly regarded litigators, joined Taylor Wessing in January, Charlotte Witherington made the jump from Freshfields to bolster our financial services regulatory capability, Shervin Shameli joined to lead our funds offering and Trish McCarvill launched our Irish tax practice in Dublin.
