Juraj heads the corporate team in our Bratislava office. He specialises in all areas of Slovak and European corporate law, M&A and capital markets.
Juraj is recommended for his specialist advice regarding corporate law and M&A transactions and also helps his clients resolve competition, EU & trade and as well as restructuring & corporate recovery commercial law issues. Amongst others, he works with clients from the technology, media & communications, manufacturing & industrials, real estate and financial sectors. Juraj is co-author of one of the two most widely used commentaries to the Slovak Code of Commerce (Chapters: Company in Crisis, Private Limited Company, Simplified Joint Stock Company). He was one of the principal drafters of the amendment of the Slovak Commercial Code, introducing a wholly new type of legal vehicle – a simple joint-stock company (j.s.a.).
